DIMITRA TSAKANIA, SOPRANO
Dimitra Tsakania was born in Samos. She has obtained her Degree
in Harmony and her Performance Diploma in Singing from the Hellenic
Conservatoire (class of Y. Poulos) with Distinction and First Award for her
excellent performance. She is also a degree owner of both English and german
language.
Miss Tsakania has participated in many music festivals including
the Kalomoiria, Irea Pythagoria and Ritsos Project. She has given recitals in
collaboration with IEK Domi and Ianos.
In 2003 she participated in Purcell’s Opera Dido and Aineias, in
collaboration with Filippos Nakas conservatoire and in 2007 she worked as a
member of the Choir of the National Greek Opera. Furthermore, in 2009 she had
the leading roll of Pamina in Mozart’s Opera “the magic Flute”, a production of
Thessaloniki Opera.
